I was twittering with some friends from Mom Masterminds and the topic being discussed was centered around taking a shopping trip just for “mom”. I’ve never done that! Oh, I’ve bought myself a thing or two while shopping for groceries, but never just a trip for myself.

Do you think taking a shopping trip just for yourself is selfish? Or do you think it is a good idea to go shopping for oneself and just focus your attention on what you need? I bet if I were to shop for just myself once in a while, I wouldn’t end up spending more money on junk that I don’t really need (because then I wouldn’t feel rushed to get everything done right then!)

Maybe I ought to take an afternoon, get a coffee and buy myself some socks…..just focus on my needs for a few hours?

This is my business blog, but I figured since it is mine ..I can post what I want, so here goes…

I’m missing my youngest child so much today…I don’t know why, maybe because the weather was so dreary? Many of you know that my youngest daughter passed away in November 2001 from Cardio Myopathy.

I’m not having a pity-party I just really miss not having my arms full of “little squiggly chubs”…my other 4 children don’t really fit on my lap anymore they are just about my size (my how time flys!).

So, if you’re a parent that is missing your little one…just know that I’ll be praying for you too! I’m just so thankful that I’ve been blessed
