We see all kinds of products for stretch mark removal, in the physical realm, but what about the business realm? Did you know your business has stretch marks? Maybe this isnt’ a real pretty picture to paint, but it gets the point across.

Stretch marks show growth and if your business is growing there should be proof. What steps are you taking to insure that your business is growing?Think back to the first year in your business, you didn’t really have any task to outsource. You probably didn’t have a need for a bookkeeper or an accountant. Now think to your second year in business; you feel the “time crunch” on certain tasks, you can’t keep up with your own record keeping, you don’t have time to write your own articles anymore let alone submit those articles to all of the submission directories.

Now you’re into your third year of business, you find that you really need help and NOW! But where do go to find help? What do you begin to outsource?

Besides doing your basic internet research for “virtual assistant” or “virtual assistance”, why not ask fellow entrepreneurs and online business owners for their recommendations. You can visit virtual assistant forums and see what virtual assistants are frequenting the board.

Today is Day #5 of a 10 day series entitled :

“10 Reasons to Market Your Business with Articles”

Outsourcing (delegating) a minimum of 5 hours of article marketing per month can benefit your business. Perhaps if you have a better understanding behind the “why” you should be marketing your business with articles, then this task will never see the end of your to-do list again.

Day 5: I Need Leads?

Article marketing can bring you leads of quality that are relevant to your specific business needs. Perhaps a potential JV (joint venture) relationship can be started simply by having the right person read one of your articles. This is another reason why you need to have a specific call-to-action in your “Author Bio Box” (a.k.a. resource box). Don’t be afraid to send your readers to a different page than your home page. You can invite your reader to visit any page of your website. Be creative!

Articles Submissions+Weekly Basis+Customers=Success

O.k. I can hear you saying “Steph, come on..how is weekly article submissions going to get me customers?” Well, I’m here to tell you that the correctly written article, submitted on a (no less than) weekly basis can help you get seen (and noticed) by your target market, resulting in successful sales for your business.

Articles are like blood types; they come in positive and negative.

1. Negative: if your article is poorly written, bad grammar, incorrect
information, misleading or promotional.

2. Positive: written correctly, no grammatical mistakes, correct information,
educational.

All of your articles should be written to educate your target market by telling them how your product/service can make their lives better or why your service is something they need. By educating your target market on the benefits of your product/service, your more apt to gaining their trust that you’ll provide what they need.

A great way to find new topics to write about is by doing your online research: find out where your target market shops, searches for (keywords/keyword phrases), likes and dislikes, ect. This is the reason why your research needs to come first! This is one reason why you have to have a focused business before marketing your business, otherwise, you’ll waste a lot of time and money. Remember, you can always outsource these tasks if you don’t have time to do them on your own or if you’d rather not do them on your own.

Well, if you decide not to write your own articles for whatever reason you have 2 choices:

1. Ghost Writer- This is a more expensive option in which you hire/contract with a professional writer to write exclusive articles that you are for your use only.

2. PLR (private label rights) Articles- These are articles written by professional writers, that give you the right to rewrite them anyway you want, the distribute them to your readers, blog, newsletter and website. These are both great options to help you get the content you to educate your target market and help you in your quest for better SEO results! (I’ve listed my affiliate link for EasyPLR.com for your convienence.)

Remember, your virtual assistant is willing and able to help you succeed in your business and is most likely a great source to go to for help with your marketing efforts. If you’re looking for a virtual assistant, please contact me! I’m currently taking new clients and would love to speak with you!
